Cache read error
To speed up webpages, Google Chrome temporarily saves downloaded files to disk. When Google Chrome is not shut down properly, these files can become corrupted, resulting in this error. Reloading the page should resolve this issue, and shutting down properly should prevent it from happening in the future.

If the problem persists, try clearing the cache. In some cases, this can also be a symptom of hardware starting to fail.
Here are some suggestions:
Reload this webpage later.
Error 401 (net::ERR_CACHE_READ_FAILURE): Error reading data from cache.

HTTP errors that are 401 are typically caused by a limiting of what users are allowed to enter certain URLS. Unfortunately, on new web browsers like Google Chrome, the technology of certain websites can't keep up with the fast web browsers, and most websites will only allow people in up to a certain point of technology.

If you think that the pages you are requesting should be accessed to everyone on the internet, then it could be a deeper problem with your computer specifically, and you might have to have the software of your computer checked out, because it might not be able to keep up with the fast information from your web browser.

First, you can check your url through a web browser (not in the link, but in the actual browser by typing in what the main thing or website you are searching for is). This should be done on a different internet connection or browser so you know that this problem is with the browser or not.

If the problem still continues with a different browser, it is due to non-updated software on your computer, or a connection internet explorer that is too old to support the browser, which highly has to do with your internet connection. There are free internet explorers that you can download for free.

If there is no problem on the other browsers, it could be a 401 error in which the browser doesn't allow most people in it due to security reasons, and you might have to search for the webpages WITHIN the browser itself. This is unusual however.

I am suspecting this is a problem with your internet explorer itself, because certain browsers and other websites will save files if your internet explorer can't keep up with those files.

It may also help to check the files that have been saved AFTER checking in my documents for them, and if they are there, double click them and open them. You MIGHT have to right click them and do properties and change it to a website property.

Best wishes.

I was on Google Chrome all day yesterday until 11:30 PM and I am on Google Chrome right now. I never saw anything wrong. It's working very good right now. I don't know what your problem would be. You could try running your anti-virus and anti-spyware programs. Also run Ccleaner. Go to internet options and delete history, temporary internet files, and cookies.
