What is Google Talk & what are it's features?

Does Google Talk provide Video & Sound Chat? Can it also be used as a text chat software?

Google Talk (GTalk) is a Windows and web-based application for voice over internet (VOIP) and instant messaging, offered by Google. Google talk is Gmail or google massenger as like of yahoo Mesanger & Rediff Bol.



I know about sound chat but not yet video chat. Yes it can be used as text chat software.

its an IM tool of google..i.e gmail.,yes it does support sound but not video..it lacks animations too..a bit monotonous.
