How to delete all the facebook mails from my gmail?

I want to delete all the facebook and orkut mges from my mail.i dnt want to 2 delete all the mails,only facebook and orkut.atleast any of it..pls help me..

Click on “Show Search Options”.



On this page you will find the “Search” drop down box. From these options, select “Unread Mail” and click “Search Mail”.



In the third step, select “All” near the “Archive” tab. This will select all the unread messages on the page. Here you can then delete all the messages in one click.



However, this will delete only the mails on that page. There is another option to delete all the unread messages. You will see an option “select all conversations that match this search”, if you select “All” after the third step. It gives you the confirmation and an option to “Clear Selection”. Whatever the number of your unread mails and on whichever page may they be all will be deleted.

Hi,



Use the search filter 'Box' at the top of the page and search for a term unique to those emails such as 'facebookmail.com' which is the sender of most facebook mail. Just below this is a 'tick box' which lets you select all the mail you have just filtered in the search. Click this and use the page count button (bottom right corner) to move to the next page and do the same until all filter mail is selected, then choose delete from the top menu bar.



You will then need to go to the trash/bin and across the middle of the screen is a link saying 'empty trash now'. Click this to empty the trash, but make sure that you don''t have any mail in the trash that you want to keep, before doing this.

there is an option of filter in gmail , u can use it.

1. at the top of gmail page (near search box) there is a link 'create filter' , click on it

2. now fill the from field with facebook

3. then press next

4. select check box 'delete it' , and also the check box 'Also apply filter to ... conversations below'

5. press create filter.



this will delete all facebook mails from ur gmail , and will also delete all incoming new mails from facebook.

You don't do it through G-Mail. You do it through your Facebook account. Go to account and click. (Top right corner of page in news feed page). Click account settings (3rd one down). On the top there are these tabs, one says noticfications. Click there. On the left side uncheck EVERYTHING under email. Uncheck SMS ( your mobile device) if you don't want texts either. DON'T FORGET TO SAVE. That should do it. P.S i was describing this from a computer, not any mobile device

Dunno, but you can unsubscribe to the emails by clicking the link at the bottom of one of them
