Do .com sites show up higher in search results then say .net,.org,.ws with same name?

Hi, I'm setting up a new site to help people make money online and naturally looking for the right address to use. I have some good ideas but need to know which extension is best to use to show highest in google search results. Say for example, would makemoneyonlinefast.com, would that show up higher than makemoneyonlinefast.ws?

Any ideas on good address would be appreciated too, site is as I say to show people how to make money online.

No, thats not true, the ranking is depend on so many things like backlinks, content and so many.

there's no priority given to .com sites as long as the content is good. The point is that most of the spam sites happen to come up on .ws sites which is why people come to that conclusion.

when u open any website, u will find "View" in the toolbar, click on it and go to "source". Now when u create a website, u write in ur meta tags every possible words ur target market will use to search for ur industry/product/service. Will they use the word "library", etc etc.? Let the web "spiders" do the crawling for ur site. of course u can pay to get ur site listed on first or second. But u can have it listed on first page too when u have all the meta tags possibly used by ppl who will search for Robinson Library. The next thing u wanna do is market ur website. This I think u will slowly learn by checking out websites that teaches u how to market ur site to ur target mkt. Good luck!

The best way to get a higher ranking is have a lot of information on your site, have a lot of links on your page and get people to put your link on their page.



It is a lot of work doing web-design. The rules of ranking is always changing. Just continue to do work on your site.
