I would like to confirm the location of the sender of a gmail to me, because I want to ensure that the sender lives where she says, ie she is not a scammer. I met her through an internet dating site, and have been scammed before, so I am wary.

I have searched the internet and it seems that Google just puts it's own IP address in the header of gmails and does not include the IP of the sender, is that true?

There is no way to find out the originating IP from a Gmail email - that's why scammers love to use Gmail. Because the IP address will always show up as one of Gmail's servers no matter where the person claims to be

If this person refuses a Skype video chat with you, they are always a scammer. The ONLY reason why someone has excuses why they can't talk on cam is because they are NOT the person in the photo

If this person asks you for money for ANY reason, no matter how desperate it sounds, they are a scammer. ONLY a scammer would ever ask a person they met online for money

If this person gave you her full name, date of birth, parents' names or other personal information within the first few days, they are a scammer. NO real woman would ever give out this sort of information for her own privacy and security. With all of the perverts and scammers stalking women on dating sites, no real woman would ever give more than her first name to a man until she has met him in person. I talked to a guy living in Hong Kong for almost 6 months and he didn't know anything but my first name until his contract finished, he came back to London and we finally got to meet up for a few dates. And I didn't know anything other than his first name either. Scammers give out way too much information

try using: # to search for lively connectons each and every 2d netstat -an a million | discover "ESTAB" or # to search for connections attempting to go back up each and every 2d netstat -an a million | discover "SYN" that ought to run netstat -an each and every 2d and filter out for below usual connections. be conscious: The discover command can get kinda flakey on occasion with that streamed documents, so if it would not look to paintings, kill it and commence it back. once you deliver a message on your buddy and it is going direct, you need to be sure a sparkling connection to his IP. besides the undeniable fact that, probability is reliable that it received't bypass direct. maximum folk have personal firewalls lately or domicile Linksys routers that do not enable incoming requests except configured. So probability is reliable it is going to all leap by the server.
