Well it is kind of abusing Yahoo Answers as you didnt answer a question. The very least you should do is provide a link with information about the specific question. Every one knows you can google something, the point of Yahoo Answers is real people actually answering questions and providing proper information.

Unfortunately, a simple and short answer like "Google it" is indeed a violation on Y!A and is a valid reason for being reported for abuse. According to Y!A Guidelines that kind of answer is "not attempting to answer the question and is a violation for Point Gaming".
