If I reviewed something on Google reviews, can someone find out my name/email or even my ip address if they know what their doing? What all can they find out with my ip address without doing anything illegal? And what can I do to my computer to prevent them from finding my ip? If I take my computer apart will my ip disappear or be untraceable? Thanks!

yes someone can spot ur IP but its not a walk in the park, no breaking your PC will not help.IP is like a web finger print even u disconnect from ur device every thing u do on net gives away ur IPand it remains. Through the help of IP cyber police trace criminals.

But dint worry just for a review no one will do such labour to trace ur IP so relax.Lets assume if someone is really that powerfull to trace ur IP, he don't have to go Google.

Your IP address can be find out by using email tracing technique. If you send email to someone from your hotmail, yahoo account etc.... then other side can open your email, inspect email header and then with free email trackers find out more information's about sender.

Take a look for yourself:

There is not any way to hide IP address except by using proxy servers. Then when someone try to track you back he will get information;s about proxy server and not from your own IP address.

But remember that owner of proxy server know your IP address and if it is needed more information;s about your IP address.

Google can find out the IP address that your internet providers gives you but I doubt they do anything with it unless told otherwise by authorities. Lots of information can be determined with IP addresses like sites you visited and stuff you downloaded but that would have to be done through your internet provider but your internet provider is not allowed to do things like that even if you were to download illegally because of privacy issues. Your IP doesnt really disappear because like I said its provided by your internet provider.

Not without hacking into Googles database and I seriously doubt anyone with the experience to do this would waste time with such a worthless endeavor
