hello, i want to host my site. Actually it would be medium or small you can say. I will make it on wordpress platform and about ptc sites. So is godaddy reliable for my site ? i am thinking about hostgator too which is much better i know but godaddy is cheap and i dont need much except wordpress hosting . In godaddy i can get $30 per year around while in hostgator its almost double and better.

nishant,

cPanel is available if you go with a virtual dedicated server or a fully dedicated server. Our shared hosting accounts feature our own proprietary Hosting Control Center. It also features 99.9% uptime, state-of-the-art security, email addresses, daily backup, FTP access, one click setup, and 24x7 support. You can see more information here: http://x.co/dMi4

You can also contact our Sales and Support Team anytime 24x7 for answers to any questions you might have.

I hope this has helped.

Sincerely,

Jeremi

Of the services offered to choose from; Host Gator would be the better choice at present because GoDaddy imposes a number of limits on the server side that cripple databases, particularly bridging to setup single sign-on, while also giving customers few turn-key choices of blog, portal, gallery, and other software. Host Gator uses cPanel and also provides you with Fantastico which will assist you with a one-click set-up for suites like Joomla, blogs like Wordpress, and so on. Their service can be a bit iffy but setup and running a site through the included tools is easy enough that you probably won't need service unless there is a problem with your account or server; if there is a need you may get a short-tempered tech or an angel but they are pretty prompt. Of the multiple hosts out there (i.e. netfirms, dreamhost, hostpc, bluehost, etc) I'd say that Host Gator and HostPC deliver about the same level of service but Host Gator gains my favor due to using cPanel instead of DirectAdmin as well as having fairly good though slightly expensive dedicated server offerings. Good luck with your site. =)

I was in the same boat many years ago.

Go with Hostgator. Godaddy doesn't use cpanel and you will have all sorts of issues. I was so happy when I made the switch. Save yourself some stress, go with a baby plan and everything is unlimited. That way you can build tons of websites on the same hosting plan.

use coupon code: go1centhosting

You will get the first month for 1 cent.

Hi,

According to me both godaddy and hostgator are expensive. So choose other affordable hosting providers. I would recommend hioxindia, a leading hosting provider in India which offers hosting, domain at lowest rates ever.

Out of the 2 you listed i would go with host gator. Go daddy likes to up sell and make sure to read terms for hosting so site is allowed.

also make sure to look at prices after first year some sites give low price but you pay more after first year and might pay more than other sites.
