Go to your Gmail inbox. Then, you will see a small check box next to where it says Archive. Click on that check box, and then click on Delete. Then, all of the emails on that page will be deleted, and moved to the Trash folder. Do the same for the following pages, until all of the emails in your Inbox are deleted.

there's this check box that is right next to "Archive" which is next to "Report Spam"

and this check box is above all the checkboxes next to ur emails. well check the box and everything will be highlighted. at the top in blue, it'll say

"Select all 3000 conversations in inbox"

and click that

and then click delete at the top and all of it will be gone

Select all or select one by one by checking the box where needed, and above that option is "Delete".

Indeed if you have 3000 messages in your inbox, even loading it must be crap! It must take quite a long time, and obviously you may not even get there. Le us hope you don't have this problem.

So you sign in and go to your inbox. Now click on Mail. Get the list first. Secondly, next to "Archives", check mark the box with an arrow down button only. It should select all of them. Hopefully, then click on "Delete" button. Now wait very patiently. I would advice you to watch the TV in the meantime as it is going to take like forever! Then you should be done!

Second solution, if that failed, and you don't have the patience anymore: ignore that inbox, and just forget about it and create another Gmail inbox account!

Unless you delete your account you cant delete the inbox, but you can delete the messages that are inside the inbox.

You can either:

1.) Delete them- moves the emails to your trash where you can delete forever from there

2.) Archive them- this takes the emails out of your inbox and just keeps them in the "All mail" folder.

3.) Move them- you can move them into a folder that you created.

If you want to just keep one or two you will have to individually check the boxes you dont want and leave out the ones that you do. Or if you want to delete all of your messages, you can select "all" from the dropdown list that comes from the box at the top bar of your inbox (it is at the top right).

Once the emails are selected (either all of them, or just some) you can choose what you want to do with them ( Delte, archive, move).

If you want to delete your account,

Go to settings at the top right of your gmail page > click google account settings > click edit (to the right of my products in the pop up window) > under delete account hit "Close account and delete all services and info associated with it"
