Question:
Where can I get Google Talk?

And don't say "Google."

Google appears to have replaced Google Talk with Hangouts, which creates a few annoying issues for me.

First of all, our company used Google Talk as an internal chat network. It's one of the reasons we dropped the overly expensive MS package we had and got rid of Lync. But apparently, Google doesn't appear to allow Hangouts on Business Apps (at last, not for free). I can't figure out how to enable this.

Secondly, I can't find the install link for the OLD Google Talk app. It's all I need -- I don't want Hangouts. But the download links redirect to Hangouts, and Hangout's download links redirect to CHROME. I DON'T WANT CHROME.

So can someone please tell me where I can download Google Talk?

Talk was subsumed in to Hangouts and retired. There is no way to get it. Hangouts is actually part of Apps for Business though, because I use it just fine. It's part of Google+ in the Apps for Business.
