Question:
Gmail: Was my email sent?

I'm using Gmail. I sent an email a couple of days ago but didn't get a response. So I checked the message header and for some reason it says the message was delivered to (Delivered-To: myusername@gmail.com) my email address instead of the recipient I intended, but the email body says it was sent to the recipient. I ran it through Google's messageheader and again it says it was sent from and to my email address instead of the recipient's. But the email body still says it was sent to the recipient. What is this telling me? Was my email sent or not? It should be noted that Gmail was experiencing issues a few days ago, so I'm not sure if that has something to do with it. Don't want to be pushy and resend if it's already been sent.

Your just getting confused.

To make sure your email is sent, add your own email to the list. It shoud go to your self also.

For gmail, make sure to add <> around the email like this:

Good Luck.

just check if it was sent by clicking sent items on the left side and if you find the email there,it was sent
