I am hoping/praying there is a way to "ignore" an email address on Gmail.. I have a certain person continuously emailing me after I specifically told him to leave me alone and he won't...Sooo, does anyone know if there is a way to ignore an specific email address, and if so, how do I do it?

THanks!

Hit "Report Spam" at the top, and the emails will go straight to your spam folder from then on.

You'll never have to see it, since Gmail deletes stuff in your spam folder after 30 days.

In your inbox (or Spam folder), place a tick in the box against any one of the emails you want to get rid of

Now where it says "more actions" in the drop down box above, select "filter messages like these"

You should see a list of emails sent by this person on the next page

Select All

Click "next step"

Tick the box "delete it" and make sure you tick the box "apply this filter to the messages below"

Finally, click "create filter"

All the emails and any more this person sends will go to the Trash folder - you can go there and delete them permanently - or after 30 days, it will be done automatically.

you just have to block that person.
