How do I remove the google search engine box from my mozilla firefox browser?

I wasn't given the option to remove it during installation.

Right click over it or next to it, select "Customize..." a window will open, drag and drop the search box into it. That's it.

Select that, and a small window will appear that lists every search engine you have installed. At the bottom right of that window is a "Remove" button. Select Google and press "Remove.:

I don't believe it's removable, as it's not a Google search box, it's a custom search field added in by Mozilla. You can add/remove various search engines as well as the ability to search individual sites.

You have to right click on the top where there is a blank spot (not the search bar) and then there should be a little check by the Google Search engine or something. To removie it just click on it and it should be gone. Hope This helps!!

maybe if you remove all the search engines that are available.. i dont want to remove mine, so i wont try anything. go to the manage search engines, and give it a try on removing them all.. good luck
