If you want your image to be visible in the Google search then you will have to make your image file name as the exact keyword that your images describes about. And post the images in all free image posting sites and promote them. This shows your image in the search results. But it is vital to give the image file name and tags as exact as the keyword that you are concentrating on it.

Are you violating copyrights? just be aware there are image search services out there that actually recognize the image. I researched one classic puppy photo and found it popping up on some 142 sites on DVD covers, a calendar and in a picture of postcards sitting on a tale.

Google search indexes photos by their file and alt tag text, if you keep the file name as cryptic numbers, like Facebook does, it will probably keep it out of the index, tough the meta tab mentioned above seems like a sound solution a well.

Chang the file name when you save the picture onto your computer.

You need to creat a noimageindex meta tag for your webpage.
