But just now, it stopped opening this page when I open chrome or when I open a new tab it goes on some web search thing.... I tried going to settings and change it to "Open the New Tab page" but it still doesn't work I still end up on this search thing and its really annoying me because there were all the apps I downloaded + it was personalized;)

This page you are talking about is called app tab.

follow:

1 . Open a blank tab.

2 . Look at the bottom of tab: you will find two options - Most Visited or Apps

3 . Click on Apps.

Its done.

Now whenever you open new tab you will get your apps page

I had this same problem and I know what the problem is. You must have recently downloaded something, and within the download was a search engine. (it's a tricky thing to do)

So, how you fix it: Click the three little parallel bars at the top right (the settings thing right below the 'close window' button) then click 'settings' near the bottom. Then you will see several different things, first should be "sign in" with some stuff, then below it should say, "on start-up" and it will have 3 things for you to click. If it isn't already, click the third one "open pacific page or set of pages" then right next to it in in blue letters, click "set pages" There you will see the weird search engine thing you are dealing with, click it then click the "x" to the right of it to delete it. Now if "Google" isn't already there, just add it and you're good to go! :D

Hope I helped!

I love it, 9.5/10 at the second. Rule One: it can be speedy. Considering it can be from Google, i'm certainly definite it's at ease. The cause I docked it .5 elements is due to the fact that, well, it can be a beta unencumber. Giving 10/10 on a first beta? Come on. I've 2 favorite facets. I become aware of that, if a process is making, say, 100k utilization, you need to use the task supervisor (web page>Developer>undertaking supervisor) and shut that tab, lowering your usage. However one I real and actually love, which you could create 'utility shortcuts' (web page>Create Appl...) and so they allow you to launch purposes out of your laptop. For illustration, say i exploit Gmail. I can create a shortcut to Gmail from my desktop, and double-click on it to launch it. It works with a couple of different apps, too. Another thing i like in all browsers is simplicity. Just like the Google homepage, which is inconspicuous, the UI isn't the prettiest thing in the world, but it surely's simple and efficient. It takes some time to get to grasp your approach round it, however hiya, it took time to know your method round IE7, Safari 3.1, Firefox 3, and certainly Opera. What's one-of-a-kind? WebKit is a steady, speedy rendering engine. As it's the first day, every body does not have an app for Chrome. As soon as it will get, say, 10% market share (Google would accomplish this by means of releasing distinct 'ought to have' points for Chrome, after which perhaps 3-6 months later for FF/IE customers), i'm certain extra humans will write apps for Chrome. At the end, market share might be 1% internet Explorer, forty% Firefox, forty% Chrome, 19% Safari - as it should be. Total, I recommend you download Chrome instantly. You'll not remorse it.
