I have Windows Vista (I hate it) and I recently had the "Anti-virus Soft" virus removed (at least I think it is) from my laptop. The virus wouldn't allow me to open any of my programs because they were "infected". Ever since its been removed everything has been working fine except IE and Google Chrome. Fire Fox works but I miss my Google Chrome. Help Please :)

I had the same thing and it burnt two of my web browsers. I was using IE when I got the virus and it just never came back to what it used to be. I switched to Fire Fox, got reinfected and now get bounced through a proxy/google fake that just sends me to fake sites selling clothes and shoes. I'm on Chrome now and it works great except Fire Fox never came back. I ran everything I had against it and it still is just a front for another virus. I think you're stuck with whatever you have like me. Sorry :(

But if you do figure it out please post back! I want more browser options!

Frankly, if I were you, I'd just dump Vista this instant.

I've been using Windows XP for nearly 7 years now and, TBH, it's never failed me. I've tried Windows 7, but my motherboard didn't have any drivers which supported Windows 7, so I reverted to XP.

Just get Windows XP, and all your problems are solved!

I'm having the same issue, and also on Instagram I can't view people's profiles.

Please try to uninstall and re-install your anti virus protection.
