I was wondering, is it possible for someone to post pictures on google? My friends say its possible but I don't know how they do that? Basically im just wondering where does google get its pictures from? (for like the image search thing) and if it has to be uploaded through another web site.

If you upload photos to a web site that is automatically cataloged on Google (such as MySpace) then your photos will show up in Google Images. If you upload your photos to a web site that is not automatically cataloged by Google, you can submit the URLs that contain your images directly to Google to have your images included in their directory. The link to submit URLs to Google is:

It doesnt own them. It simply re directs you to the location that they are sourced and allows you to view them.
