When searching in google images i get the usual overview of all the search results, but when I try to click on one of the pictures, i immediately get sent to the google images homepage (http://www.google.com/imghp). This issue only happens in safari.
Has anyone encountered the same issue? How can i fix it?
btw, I am using a mac, if that has any significance.

The site http://images.google.com doesn't host images. It just cross-scripts to other image sites, such as Flickr, wikipedia, and howstuffworks. If you turn off javascript in Safari preferences, you may get this odd behavior.
Safari got hacked by a team from a French security firm (Apple is very popular in France) that had spent months preparing for the contest by studying Safari and preparing their exploit code. This team of experts isn't trying to hack your computer. Even if they tried, they might fail, because the contest shared data with Apple and Microsoft to encourage bug fixes. Internet Explorer was summarily hacked as well. The team that had chosen Firefox as their target had a problem with the stability of their code, so they had to drop out. Anyone who understands this contest knows it is a test of hackers, not a test of browsers.
