how come when i google my name a link to my face book comes up ?

um okay so i google my name and a link comes up for my face book but when i google my friends name who also has a face book a link doesn't come up for her name and i searched my 2 cousin and there link come up 2 how come mines comes up but my friends don't and how do i make it not show up if people google my name

Google uses a ranking system, and depending on how unique your name is, maybe you are the most popular person with your name. also if people search for your name just like you did, then clicked on to your facebook page from there, that helps move it to the top of the google results.

Google uses the search bot SPIDER to crawl websites for data updates in all the servers.



When you created a profile in facebook, a webpage is created with your name and stored in thier server, the same server is crawled by google and stored the same data in google servers...



When you search your name in Google, the link to your facebook profile webpage comes up...

maybe because your name isn't as common as your relatives...do you have your name in the toolbar of your facebook account? if your relatives/friends name are more common and have more webpages containing their names..
