I keep having to go through hoops trying to ignore people who add me to their circles.

I don't use Google+, but to create a youtube account I had to make a google account.

Problem is, random people keep adding me to their circles and I find this entirely creepy.

However, whenever I try to ignore someone, I keep having to go through hoops to do so.

Whenever I look up how to do it, it seems that the buttons and such that they mention have been taken away on how to ignore people. At this point in time there is no "circles" option on the drop-down menu and going to their profile does not yield an "ignore" button of any sort. I need help!

This is just beyond creepy and I hate it when random people over the internet add me to anything. Could someone please tell me how to ignore someone who has added me to their circle?

You don't have to make a Google + account to have a Youtube account. Go to your Youtube account. Go to advanced options or something similar. It will ask you about linking the accounts together and if you want to sever the connection. Yes you do. Follow the directions. The accounts will be severed. Then go to Google + and delete the account. You can often do this at the same time in the Youtube account.
