Is Google better than all the search engines in the world?

i think Google is better than every search engines in the whole world, & i also read a news about Bing just copying from Google, is it true? i'm so ashamed of Microsoft if it's :S

the way Google gather the information & directing it to us is very easy to use & constant

Yahoo! is my 2nd choice :P

Google was far ahead the competition some years after they started out, but now Yahoo (and, to lesser degree, Microsoft) are catching up. For many searches, Yahoo is just as good, though Google in their internal search results quality measurement still sees their search engine ahead of the competition. While there are some "meta" search engines which collect the data from many different search engines, including Google, and reshuffling the results, I don't believe any of those so far does an actual improvement to what Google offers.

For now, yes. Google takes up about 80 percent of all searches online. It's by far the most dominate player in the search market. However, Microsoft is working with Facebook on Search. That could shift the search market in the next year dramatically. Since Facebook now has more visitors than Google and its search is potentially about to become dramatically better ... Google may have a serious challenger in Bing/Facebook.
