im 33 in the uk, i still have windows xp on a custom built desktop computer...i cant afford the upgrade to windows 7 yet because of a low income.

firefox questions;

if you clear out the internet cache on firefox with c cleaner, does it also erase any browsing history?

its just that i want to somehow find a way to file and save all the internet history because its important to me and i want to save it for my own reference.

lastly ; step by step , how do i save all my browsing history in my firefox browser?

im a computer beginner so bare that in mind when you answer. thanks.

CCleaner has an option whether to erase browser history or not.

Your history is stored in a file called places.sqlite.

This is a database file, you'll need a program that understands sqlite files to open it directly.

Copy it to somewhere else to back up. Put it back in your firefox profile folder (where you found it) to restore history.

I don't know where it is on Windows so just search for it with the Windows explorer search feature.

If you have an Orange oblong in top left of Firefox page saying "Firefox"

Left-click on it and go to 'Options'

Left-click on that and you'll get a new 'Options' page.

Go to 'Privacy' and left-click on it

Choose whatever options you want.

Alternatively

If your Firefox page shows a menu on the top left showing File, Edit, View, History, Tools, Help.

Click on 'Tools' then on 'Options' then as before.

p.s. I don't believe you're 33 either. From your attitude, your comments and epecially your signature you're MUCH more likely to be about 13.
