About a week ago I noticed that as soon as I got on Google and tried looking something up it came up to a page that said this:

About this page

Our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network. This page checks to see if it's really you sending the requests, and not a robot. Why did this happen?
This page appears when Google automatically detects requests coming from your computer network which appear to be in violation of the Terms of Service. The block will expire shortly after those requests stop. In the meantime, solving the above CAPTCHA will let you continue to use our services.
This traffic may have been sent by malicious software, a browser plug-in, or a script that sends automated requests. If you share your network connection, ask your administrator for help — a different computer using the same IP address may be responsible. Learn more

Sometimes you may be asked to solve the CAPTCHA if you are using advanced terms that robots are known to use, or sending requests very quickly.

OK now when I click Learn More, it comes up to this page:

Trouble connecting: Unusual traffic from your computer network
When Google detects that a computer on your network may be sending automated traffic to Google we may show the following message: "Our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network." Automated queries are against our Terms of Service.

The error page most likely displays a CAPTCHA (a squiggly word with a box below it). To continue using Google, type the squiggly word into the box -- it's how we know you're a human, not a robot.
If you don't see a CAPTCHA image or if you continue to encounter the CAPTCHA over and over, try these steps in order:

Check for malware on your computer.
Malicious software, sometimes bundled with other free downloads without your knowledge, can trigger Google to show this message. We've suggested some well-known programs below that can detect and remove such applications. Please remember that we have no connection with these companies and can't guarantee their effectiveness.

Google Pack The Starter Edition of Spyware Doctor is included free with the Google Pack
Sunbelt Software CounterSpy
Kaspersky Lab Internet Security
Norton Internet Security
MacScan (for Mac users)
If these programs don't resolve the problem, you might want to try an advanced troubleshooting program such as HijackThis.

Contact your network administrator.
If you tried the steps above and haven't resolved the issue, it's very likely that a user or a computer in your network is sending automated traffic to Google. Your network administrator may be able to locate and shut down the source of the automated traffic; feel free to refer them to this page. Sending automated queries of any sort to Google is against our Terms of Service. This includes, among other things, the following activities:

Using any software that sends queries to Google to determine how a website or webpage ranks on Google for various queries
'Meta-searching' Google
Performing 'offline' searches on Google
Once the automated traffic has stopped, the ban on your IP address should be automatically lifted.

If the problem persists, your network administrator should contact us.
If your network continues to experience this message in error, please send us additional information.

When I first got this page, I could enter the CAPTCHA and it would redirect me to the page I was looking for. Now after a few days, it just keeps sending a different CAPTCHA and continues to block me out constantly.
I have Norton 360 and scanned my entire computer twice, and nothing came up.
Every other site works, just not google.
My internet is working properly
I deleted all my cookies, browsing history, i-net temp. files ETC.
I've done everything and don't know how to solve this problem.
I've been driving myself crazy and looked up all over the internet on what exactly is going on. So far, everyone is saying to do everything I've already done.
Someone in school today told me that the page containing the CAPTCHA is actually the virus/spyware blocking me from google. Is that really it?
If so, should I take my computer to staples and let them fix it ?(they put Norton 360 on my computer in the first place).
Im really confused what I should do,,,,, Thank you anyone who takes the time to read and help!
I have alot of things I need to look up for school and using Bing and Yahoo only make things 10 times as difficult!

The guy is asking for the exact message so he knows exactly why its requiring you to do the captcha. "like auto bots" isn't much info. Try making a google account and connecting it to the google page, maybe it'll stop

I now contract with an unclassified Federal Agency and with teleworking, VPN into their network to access email and files. THAT s when this started happening.

For me, I enter the CAPTCHA over and over again, and it just keeps asking for another one. I am done with Google unless this is resolved ASAP.

SAME EXACT thing is happening to me for the last several days. I reset my IP address and it only lets me do one search and then goes right back to this crap. Getting really tired of it. I did a full system scan and everything checks out ok.
