Since you're using google chrome, press CTRL+SHIFT+O to bring out the bookmark manager

alternatively click on the wrench icon on your top right corner -> goto bookmarks and select bookmark manager.

Once the bookmark tab appears, click on the "Organize" menu button. Select "Export bookmarks to HTML file..". Save it in your flash drive.

After reformatting, kindly open your bookmark manager for your new chrome. Click on the "Organize" button and select "Import bookmarks from HTML file". Select the saved file in your flash drive

Hope it helps. Pleasant reformatting =)
